Hand engraved wedding bands for a lovely Sydney couple

This is a pair of engraved white gold rings made for clients as wedding bands.They feature our signature dark white gold given a satin finish which to help bring out the lovely dark lustre. This is the natural colour of our high quality 18ct white gold (the more usual alloys are yellowish underneath the white rhodium plating). As our white gold here is not plated, the colour will not change or "wear off".

The man's wedding band on top is hand engraved in Latin " You I love, and always will love"

The ring on the bottom is a diamond set "Valhalla' ring I first designed about 12 years ago.
At that time I made a series of rings with patterns inspired by the carvings I saw on the prow of a Viking boat. I found the patterns very inspiring, both in their form, and also their origin. An ancient ship is an evocative source for a design that symbolises venturing forth into a new life. Uncharted waters and all that.
Come to think of it, I started my Guiding Star series of pendants and earrings then too, so not completely uncharted waters ;-)
