Louis Vuitton falls under the sway of Enchanted Doll

An Enchanted Doll has been shot for Louis Vuitton on the cover of this months issue of Love magazine.
It's obviously a great honour to be chosen to model for Louis Vuitton (and we are delighted to have them follow our suit!).  Fabrizio Vitti, the head shoe designer for Louis Vuitton is an avid collector of Marina's work, and was apparently lobbied hard by the editor of Love to have one of his dolls appear on the cover.   Unfortunately Marina hasn't been accredited in the issue, which is very remiss of them. Hopefully the magazine will make amends to Marina down the track.
Legendary fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott shot the cover, which has attracted a fair bit of debate as well, with many of Marina's fans (myself included) finding the image unnecessarily Photoshopped. If you make a 3D doll look like she has 2D features, you lose something of the fine balance of artistry and verisimilitude that makes Marina's work so mesmerising.
Still, beautiful doll, great magazine, shot for the top luxury company in the world, can't be too bad ;-)
